This is Chris Davis from ATA and he's got his five year old son watching NI Week via a Mac notebook's built-in webcam. Chris said that he felt bad for missing his son's first day of kindergarten, so he Skyped home and showed his son the LEGO MINDSTORMS area. Chris was trying to talk to his family and his son kept saying, "Dad, shut up and show me the robots!!!"
Talk about a great way for parents to get their kids excited about technology and engineering!

Tod, thanks for taking pictures of me last night. I'm emailing it to my kids to let them see daddy talking to them. I'm planning to skype with them tonight and show them some more of the conference center. probably hit the intel chopper and some of the mechatronics booths. My 5 year old (and I) now want a NXT kit so I can teach him to program, and build little robots.
